We all know the story of Noah’s Ark… Let’s remind once again how it goes…
“God sent a total flood upon the earth to punish people by destruction because of their debauchery. Previously, God ordered the only righteous Noah to build an ark (boat) for himself and his family and fill it with two animals, male and female of each kind. The flood destroyed all living things, except the inhabitants of the ark.”
Noah’s ark again became actual again, when an evangelical-Christian international group came up with the claim “that it found its remains, buried under the snow and under the volcanic remains of Mount Ararat in Turkey, about 4,000 meters above sea level. Local scientists have urged the government in Ankara to bring Mount Ararat to the UNESCO list because it is one of the most interesting places full of archaeological sites.
The invention of the discovery by the method of decomposition of radioactive coal showed its age of about 4,800 years, which according to inventors roughly coincides with the time of total flooding according to the Bible, so the group is convinced with 99,9% confidence that finding the Ark of Noah.
It is assumed that after the flood, the water receded, and the ship remained on land. Many believe that she remained on Mount Ararat because that mountain is the highest point in the region.
The news went viral, but individual skeptical reactions immediately arrived.
“Biologist” Todd Wood, director of the Bryan College Research Center in Tennessee said: “I am skeptical that this finding may be the remnant of Noah’s ark because if we accept its dating with a radioactive method as true, then we could not strictly interpret the Bible, according to which God created the world and all its living forms before about 6 thousand years, “which does not coincide with the age of the Earth of about 4.5 billion years, determined by the same method.”
