Sanctuary Cities needs to be put out of commission. They are outside the rule of Law and those officials making them possible should be rounded up and arrested. Shut down sanctuary cities and charge government, state and local officials who harbor illegals and turn a blind eye to the laws on illegal immigrants.
When a State or City compiles a law that supersedes the law of the land how is it constitutional? And why shouldn’t the offenders be jailed if they change the laws, and oppose federal law? Why should they receive FEDERAL funding for anything?
After all, NO cooperation, NO federal funding. Seems reasonable to me.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department on Monday made the release dates of jail inmates — including those in the country illegally — publicly available online, marking the latest local revolt against California’s so-called sanctuary laws.
Undersheriff Don Barnes said the action is in response to the harms done to the community under Senate Bill 54, which became law on Jan 1. and restricts local law enforcement’s cooperation with federal immigration authorities. Barnes and Sheriff Sandra Hutchens vocally fought against it.
“We have an obligation to safeguard our community, and we will use every tool available to help hold criminals accountable,” Barnes said Monday. “Our inability to relinquish these individuals to the custody of (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) causes them to be returned to the communities which they prey upon.”
In response to this California Attorney General Xavier Becerra threatened to arrest Orange County Sheriff for holding criminal illegal aliens for ICE officers.
Attorney General Xavier Becerra: State law is state law. And it is my job to enforce state law. I will do so. And we want to make sure that every jurisdiction including Orange County, understand what state law requires of the people and the sub divisions of the state of California.
Reporter: Does that mean a lawsuit of the sheriff’s department or the arrest of the sheriff?
Xavier Becerra: I think I just answered that.
President Trump blasted the lawlessness in California and let the citizens of Orange County know they have a right to be protected by Federal law and strong borders.
Trump tweeted: My Administration stands in solidarity with the brave citizens in Orange County defending their rights against California’s illegal and unconstitutional Sanctuary policies. California’s Sanctuary laws….

Illegal entry is a crime and should not be rewarded. The previous administration allowed and rewarded this behavior, to help their own devious agenda. The final conclusion is that the illegals should not receive squat! We all agree on that.
