“The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!” Trump tweeted two weeks ago!
And it seems he was right she is sneaky given the fact that she cautioned Thursday that “people die, accidents happen” when the government shuts down, as it is poised to partially shut down Friday night if Congress doesn’t pass a government spending bill. It was her second shift in position on the bill in just one day.
“Shutting down the government is a very serious thing. People die, accidents happen,” Feinstein told CNN. “You don’t know. Necessary functions can cease. There is no specific list you can look at and make a judgment: ‘Well everything is going to be just fine.’ You can’t make that judgment. So, I think it’s a last resort. And I’m really hopeful we don’t get to it.”
Despite her concerns, Feinstein said earlier Thursday she would not vote for a stopgap funding bill unless it included a fix for the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Feinstein later Thursday told CNN she was undecided on how she would vote on a potential short-term funding bill.
Even with Feinstein’s uncertainty, Senate Democrats said Thursday they have the necessary votes to block a House measure to fund the government through mid-February.
We gonna have to wait and see what happens! But one thing is certain if the Government shut down happens the MSM will blame President Trump and the Republicans for sure!
