Exclusive Access: The True Manifesto of Luigi Mangione – What Drove Him to Target the UnitedHealthcare CEO

In an exclusive revelation, journalist Ken Klippenstein has released what he claims is the authentic manifesto of Luigi Mangione, the suspected killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Mangione’s chilling note provides insight into his motives and frustrations, painting a damning picture of the healthcare system and corporate America.

While major media outlets such as The New York Times, CNN, and ABC have obtained the manifesto, they have refused to publish it in full. Klippenstein reached out to these organizations for an explanation, but his queries have gone unanswered. Their silence has fueled criticism over selective disclosure, as snippets of the manifesto were quoted but not contextualized.

Here is the manifesto in its entirety:

“To the Feds, I’ll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn’t working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife or traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allowed them to get away with it. Obviously, the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly, I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”

The manifesto reveals a calculated and ideologically driven act. Mangione’s grievances appear to center on the disparity between the U.S. healthcare system’s high costs and its comparatively poor outcomes. He specifically calls out UnitedHealthcare, condemning what he perceives as unchecked corporate greed and the exploitation of the public for profit.

This manifesto offers a rare and unsettling glimpse into the mind of a man who took drastic measures in an effort to address systemic issues. Klippenstein criticized the major outlets for withholding the document, arguing that the public deserves full access to form their own opinions rather than rely on selective interpretations.

Mangione’s actions have sparked renewed debates over the healthcare system, corporate accountability, and the line between activism and violence. As more details emerge, this case will undoubtedly remain a focal point in discussions about America’s economic and social landscape.

Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
