The U.S. economy grew at the strongest pace in nearly four years during the second quarter, powered by a rebound in consumer spending, strong exports and firm business investment.
The annualized rate of gains in a gross domestic product was just shy of the 4.2 percent median forecast in a Bloomberg survey. It followed the first-quarter growth of 2.2 percent that was revised from 2 percent, the Commerce Department reported Friday. Consumer spending grew 4 percent, more than estimated, while nonresidential business investment climbed at a 7.3 percent clip.
But we all remember when Obama said to Donald Trump when our current President promised huge economic boom!

“When somebody says, like the person you just mentioned who I’m not going to advertise for, that he’s going to bring all these jobs back, well, how exactly are you going to do that?
What are you going to do?
There’s no answer to it.
He just says, well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.
How exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have and usually the answer is he doesn’t have an answer.”
