Hate Crime Caught On Camera – Horrible Video Of A Little Girl Being Brutalized At School

A little girl was beaten and kicked by a much larger student at the Lady’s Island Middle School in South Carolina. A video is under investigation, and charges are pending against one of the students, according to law enforcement.

According to a report from the Beaufort Police Department, two sixth graders got into a physical altercation in the girls’ locker room Thursday as another student filmed the encounter on Snapchat. Footage of the abuse went viral on social media over the weekend.

As depicted in the video, the larger student initiates the bullying by pushing the smaller student. When the smaller student attempts to leave, the larger student sends her back to the ground with a clothesline move to the face, with the smaller student yelling “Don’t! Don’t!”

The larger student tells the girl on the ground “I will hurt you!” and proceeds to kick her, saying “Don’t do it again!”

In a calm voice, the student on the ground asks “Can I get up now, please?”

“I’ll stomp your bitch ass face in,” the larger student responds, to which the smaller student replies, “OK. I’ll stop. Just please let me …”

The larger student cuts her off and says “You can go. BYE!”

Beaufort Police Capt. George Erdel said the student will be charged in family court but did not immediately know the specific charge the child will face.

Police received a copy of the video that had been posted on Facebook and Instagram and were investigating the incident, Erdel confirmed. An incident report was not yet available, Erdel said.

The victim’s uncle said Friday afternoon he saw the video for the first time Thursday and couldn’t believe what he was watching.

“Like I told the school board officials today and I told the schools and multiple police that have got in contact with my family, no student at any school in the nation should be hit like that or smacked like that,” Sean Apgar said. “You know, it’s just to me, I didn’t honestly know what to think.”

Apgar said he wants the school and administration to be held accountable for what happened.

The Beaufort County School District has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Students also made claims that the attack should be labeled as hatee crime.
