President Trump Honored Barbara Bush With A Thoughtful Gesture In Her Former Home

Our First Lady was one of the many important people that attended Barbara Bush’s funeral on Saturday in Houston.

The church filled up for the memorial service of the beloved public servant. The front row of the pew of the church featured some of America’s most famous political families. Melania attended the funeral without her husband President Trump.

It is long established practice that a sitting President not attend these type of Funerals because of the distraction it may cause and the security logistics involved. Melania comported herself with grace related to such a somber occasion.

Former president Barack Obama did not attend Nancy Reagan’s funeral in 2016 or Betty Ford’s in 2011, and Bill Clinton did not attend the funeral of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The last President to attend such a funeral was JFK who attended Eleanor Roosevelt’s service.

But even though Trump did not attend at Barbara’s funeral, he still paid her a huge respect with the thing he just did.

Donald Trump tweeted a photo of Barbara Bush’s remembrance display in the White House Saturday. Trump said a remembrance display was set up in front of Bush’s portrait in the White House.

“Today, my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bush family,” Trump tweeted.

We are all so proud of our President! That was very compassionate thoughtful, kind and classy thing to do!

Trump’s actions tell everything. This a wonderful heartwarming thing to do, even though he wasn’t there in person, he still took the time to honor that great lady!!! That means a lot and i am sure they all appreciate the wishes as well!

Trump is s man with feeling and emotion that cares about the people of this country. This is a thoughtful tribute in her former home. The ‘Remembrance Display’ is a class act…

Thank you President Trump for truly caring about others!
