On Sunday’s interview with Meet the Press host Chuck Todd, the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared the advice President Obama gave him before leaving office.
After being asked about Obama’s advice, Trudeau said Obama implored him to “defend” their values “not just our citizens, but citizens around the world in positive ways.”
“What I took from [Obama’s advice] was something that was deeply reassuring and something I’ve seen all around the world where Canadians are — people recognize that Canadians, when we show up either as, you know, troops on the ground in a peace-keeping mission or as aid workers or as bureaucrats trying to rebuild an economy or help a multilateral institution, Canadians are there to help,” Trudeau said.
“We step up when we need to,” he continued. “We’re going to be polite, but we’re also not going to be pushed around. That need to be firm about projecting our values and defending not just our citizens, but citizens around the world in positive ways is what I consider the responsibility we have as Canadians and what I’ll do as leader.”

Well Trudeau – if your country is failing, then take Obama’s advice and invite more diversity in. You’ll be broke in 6 months.
President Trump’s son had a response to this. Donald Trump Jr. replied on Twitter, saying, “That’s one ideology.”
Trump continued: “I voted for a President that will put my fellow Americans first. Once we solve our problems we can focus on others but not till then.”

That’s right. America and Americans first. In May, Trump administration received positive jobs report: the lowest unemployment in recorded American history! Let’s face it… Trump’s conservative policies are bringing back the jobs Obama once told us were lost forever.
