Two Transgender Boys Easily Defeat Girls In State Track Meet – FURY ERUPTS (Video)
Connecticut had its State Open track and field championships at Willow Brook Park, and one transgender boy, Terry Miller of Bulkeley, broke the State Open records for girls in the 100-meter dash.
The runner-up was Andraya Yearwood of Cromwell, also a transgender boy.
Then, the winner of the 100-meter dash, Terry Miller, also went on to easily win the 200-meter race.
Two transgender teens who blew out the competition and won a track and field competition have people outraged and saying their bodies gave them an unfair advantage over the other female competitors.
This caused anger among competitors and parents who allege that the males have an unfair advantage over their female competitors.
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) allows athletes to compete according to their gender identity and implements no hormone testing like regulatory bodies do at the university level. The athletes must possess school records identifying them as their chosen gender, and those records must be verified by school officials to make sure the gender identification is made in good faith rather than to gain an unfair advantage.
Bianca Stanescu, who is Soule’s mom, said since there is no transgender consideration when it comes to “math and science and chorus” it isn’t fair for sports.
“Sports are set up for fairness,” she said. “Biologically male and female are different.”
“The great majority is being sacrificed for the minority.”
Two petitions calling for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference to amend the rules that prohibit gender mixing, have been launched.
