Webb County, TX – A dramatic high-speed chase on May 2, 2025, captured on Texas DPS video, has conservatives on X, celebrating a red-blooded Texan’s role in delivering justice after alleged human smuggler Angel Munoz led troopers on a dangerous pursuit through Webb County. The video shows Munoz, driving a black Cadillac with six illegal aliens from Mexico, weaving through traffic before a private citizen helped DPS apprehend him, prompting @PatriotPulse to write, “Texas citizens stepping up where Biden failed—rule of law is back!”
The chase, starting on IH-35 near Laredo, saw Munoz endangering civilians as he sped through traffic. After stopping the vehicle, Munoz and the six illegals fled on foot, but a local rancher—described by DPS as a “private citizen”—tackled Munoz, allowing troopers to arrest him for human smuggling and evading arrest, per gov.texas.gov []. The six illegal aliens were handed over to Border Patrol. In a separate Zavala County incident on May 1, DPS arrested Brandon Perret for smuggling after finding a female illegal alien in his trunk, also turned over to Border Patrol.
