On Friday night the United States government was officially shut down after Democrats and Republicans were unable to reach an agreement on government funding.
Almost immediately, Democrats and media accused President Trump, calling it the “Trump Shutdown.”
Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said no one “deserves the blame for the position we find ourselves in more than President Trump.”
But an interesting video footage from House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer past emerged. video footage.
Schumer (D-NY) was one of the most outspoken politicians on the issue and the main target, as Rep. Bradley Bryne (R-AL) brought a big poster of his quote from 2013, which said, “a [government shutdown] is the politics of idiocy, of confrontation, of paralysis.”
Democrats objected to this poster used by @RepByrne featuring an old quote from @SenSchumer during the last shutdown. So now the House is voting on whether it abides by chamber rules. (Really.) pic.twitter.com/VPWDD03muY

But, as you already know the word Democrat is a synonym of the word hypocrite. Schumer got caught contradicting himself on immigration. In in a 2009 quote, he said: “People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the U.S. legally.”

And now, another Democrat can’t remember what he said less than 5 years ago. Perhaps they should have their mental health examined. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has gotten caught in hypocrisy as well.
On the Senate floor on Sept. 30, 2013, Sanders said:
“What they are saying to the American people tonight is: ‘Well, maybe we lost the presidential election. Maybe we lost seats in the Senate, lost seats in the House. It doesn’t matter. We can now bring the government to a shutdown, throw some 800,000 hard-working Americans out on the street. And we are gonna get our way no matter what.’”
Mick Mulvaney, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, pointed this out and said on Friday, “This is exactly what they accused the Republicans of doing back in 2013.”
MSNBC confronted the 76-year-old Sanders over comments he made in 2013 amid a looming government shutdown, with the obvious implication that Democrats are doing the exact same thing Sanders accused Republicans of five years ago. When Sanders was asked about the quote, he responded, “That doesn’t sound like — I don’t recall saying anything like that.”
But, thank God for the Internet. If Sanders doesn’t remember that doesn’t make the statement go away.
It really boils down to the fact that Democrats LIE so much they can not keep their stories straight. Plus, all Democrats have the same problem, failed memory. They cannot remember a single thing that they have ever said or done. Yet they write book after book of memoirs. Liberalism is a brain disease.
