Bernie Sanders Defends “Trump Country” – Explains Why Trump Won! (Video)
I love the way people have a hard time figuring out Trump supporters! We are all ages, men, and women, some are quiet and some are talkative, some are brash and some are calm. We are a varied group of people. The things we have in common is the fact we love our country, we are mostly hard workers, pay our taxes without complaining, we love the President because he is down to earth when it comes to working ethics.
We respect the President because he feels the same way about our country as us. He is a fighter and you can’t push him around. There are many more things we have in common, but this will give you an idea of what we are about. We love America and President Trump does also.
Tuesday night on MSNBC’s “All In With Chris Hayes,” Bernie Sanders defended Trump supporters and explained why President Trump won the 2016 presidential election. “Trump was able to do was pick up on the failures of the Democratic Party,” he said. Watch the video below!
“Well, I think we have to do a heck of a lot better in getting through to some of those people. I am not going to deny for a second that some of those supporters are racist, sexists, homophobes, xenophobes, that’s true. I don’t believe that is the majority. I’ve been all over Trump country. And I think what Trump was able to do was pick up on the failures of the Democratic Party, that did not talk about the fact that hard working decent people saw their jobs going to Mexico or China,” Bernie said.
“People cannot afford to send their kids to college or afford child care or afford housing that they desperately need,” he continued.
“So I think the future of the Democratic Party has got to be the focus on the needs of working families to demand that we have a government that represents all of us. You talk to Republicans and ask them how they feel about Citizens United,” Sanders added, claiming that Republicans agree with him on not allowing billionaires to “buy elections.”

Dems are screwed for a long time and the DNC is broke thanks to Hillary and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Trump absolutely took advantage of the Democrats arrogance and inability to connect with the common working American. Hillary made a bad mistake calling the working people deplorable. She’s finished and Dems are screwed and without a leader. And Bernie will split the vote again in 2020. I don’t see that predicted blue wave coming.
Trump won because he has people that successfully have seen their own American dream and the people still have that dream voted for him. Trump won because he was the best person for the job!!
