“Independence Day” Statue of Liberty Climber Gives Anti-America Speech Outside Manhattan Court (Video)
The woman partially climbed up the Statue of Liberty on Independence Day, prompting authorities to evacuated Liberty Island.
The woman was seen scaling the statue after an “Abolish ICE” banner was unfurled below the statue.
United States Park Police public information officer Sgt. Dave Somma told WABC Liberty Island was evacuated as a precaution and that the woman made it to the midsection of the statue.
According to live video from WABC, the woman is sitting at the base of the statue, occasionally moving and waving a T-shirt. WNB reported that the shirt read “rise and resist,” which is the name of a non-profit activist organization.
The name of the activist is Therese Okoumou and she is now facing numerous charges, including trespassing, interference with government agency functions and disorderly conduct for scaling the icon of freedom, according to the New York Post.
However, she appeared outside Manhattan federal court Friday wearing a dress that said, “I really care, why won’t u?” before beginning what she called her “song.”
“America, you motherf–kers! You drug addicts! You KKK! You fascist USA,” she shouted to her supporters.

If she was in Congo she would have been severely punished but here, she’ll be considered a celebrity and will make the MSM talk show circuit. Five lawyers will jump up to represent her just for the publicity.
This is just insane these people don’t have patriotic feelings for our country!
And those ICE protesters were there accidentally at the same time!
I don’t believe them they are all crazy and all of them should answer for this unpatriotic action!
