Just in! Supreme Court UPHOLDS President Trump’s Travel Ban
Since Trump signed the travel ban, the liberal media strictly criticized Trump’s decision. Illegal immigrants were described by them as innocent people who never cause violence in the United States.
If you were born in the USA your supposed to pay for the illegals while you live paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet. This is the Democratic’s Way of thinking.
We can all agree that (mostly Muslim) immigrants goal all along is a total destruction of American culture and dignity. That’s why the US needs to use some policies very soon because it has gotten out of hand.
Today the Supreme Court upheld President Trump’s immigration travel ban against predominantly Muslim countries Tuesday as a legitimate exercise of executive branch authority.
The 5-4 ruling reverses a series of lower court decisions that had struck down the ban as Illegal or unconstitutional. It hands a major victory to Trump, who initiated the battle to ban travelers a week after assuming office last year. It was a defeat for Hawaii and other states that had challenged the action, as well as immigration rights groups.
Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the opinion and, it appears, both Justice Neil Gorsuch and Justice Anthony Kennedy agreed with the majority, handing Donald Trump’s Justice Department a much-needed win on the issue.
The Court’s language was strong, with Roberts noting that the President “lawfully exercised the broad discretion granted to him under Section 1182(f) to suspend the entry of aliens into the” United States.
The Court also noted that the President’s interest in preserving national security, particularly in light of terrorism concerns, overrides concerns pertaining to the free exercise of religion as codified in the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause. Opponents of the ban had tried to make the case that, because the ban affected several Muslim countries, the religion itself was targeted.
This illustrate once again why Supreme Court nominations are so important. Still had 4 activist judges decide against an uncontroversial use of executive authority.
