Longtime NY Democrat Slams Chuck Schumer… Says Democrats Are ‘Betraying’ American Values
These days more and more Democrats turned their back on this now “Coastal Party” that has no resemblance to the Democratic Party. First, on Sunday morning Maxine Waters slammed the two leaders of her party, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, saying they “will do anything” to protect themselves.
Now, a longtime Democratic New York State lawmaker Dov Hikind ripped Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), declaring that he will support the GOP until Schumer can “restore sanity and honesty” to the party.
Hikind slammed Schumer’s attacks on President Trump, which were sent as part of a fundraising call.
“As a fellow Democrat, I ask you to work to restore sanity and honesty to our party… Until then, I’m afraid the Republicans have my support,” said Hikind, adding the Democrats were “betraying the ideals that our party once stood for — American values.”
“Senator Schumer, in your letter you promise to fight for Democratic values and go on at great length to fully villainize the current administration,” he added. “You forgot to tell us about the economy. As good as it’s been, economists expect even more growth through the end of the year.”
“You forgot to tell us about tax cuts. I’m part of the middle class and now I’m getting a little extra in my paycheck. I’m happy about that and so are tens of millions of Americans, Senator,” said Hikind.
He’s right. I’m glad that others besides the Deplorable can see just how crazy some of the opposition leaders have become or were already that way before. And soon a lot more members of the Democrat debacle will be leaving the Democratic party.
As long as their party have people like Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, and Schumer they will never restore Integrity or respect! These people are well on their way to destroying the Democrat Party. Resist, oppose, harass and spew hate is their game plan.
Hopefully, many more Democrats will see the truth of what the Democrats have become.
