The Preliminary Investigation Results Of Ukrainian MP Who Was Found Dead With Gunshot Wound To The Head Are Out
Ukraine was in the center of attention after an audiotape has been released by a Ukrainian politician which details conversations between corrupt and discredited former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden. John Kerry is also on the audio tape. The men discuss the firing of then Prosecutor Shokin for corrupt reasons, in order to prevent an investigation into Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and other criminal actions.
Today Ukraine is again trending on the internet as member of the parliament was found dead with a gunshot in the head.
Ukrainian parliamentarian Valeriy Davydenko, who is a member of the Dovira deputy group, was found dead in his own office. The MP Ilya Kiva wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“His body with a gunshot wound has just been found in the office of an MP Valeriy Davydenko. The circumstances are being investigated,” he said.
The information was also confirmed by the former MP Ihor Mosiychuk. According to him, Valeriy Davydenko is a defendant in several corruption transactions and criminal proceedings.
According to sources of the Ukrainian Truth news agency, the weapon was found near his body. At the moment, the law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
Deputy Interior Minister Anton Herashchenko on his Facebook page said that the MP’s body was found in the toilet.
“The body of MP Valeriy Davydenko was found in the toilet in his own office with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. An investigative police group is working at the scene,” the Deputy Interior Minister said in a message.
The preliminary investigation suggests he committed suicide, said Zoryan Shkiryak, an Interior Ministry official.
People started conspiracy theories on Twitter about Biden’s alleged connections with the victim but we can’t confirm anything at the moment.
In the meantime, in Ukraine, there is an ongoing investigation as district Court Judge S. V. Vovk ordered the country’s law enforcement services to formally list the fired prosecutor, Victor Shokin, as the victim of an alleged crime by the former U.S. vice president, according to an official English translation of the ruling obtained by Just the News.
The court had previously ordered the Prosecutor General’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigations in February to investigate Shokin’s claim that he was fired in spring 2016 under pressure from Biden because he was investigating Burisma Holdings, the natural gas company where Biden’s son Hunter worked.
