This Taxpayer-Funded Display About Charlie Kirk at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia Will Make Your Blood Boil
This is what your tax dollars are funding in Alexandria, Virginia.
At the Torpedo Factory Art Center — a city-owned building — there’s currently a display targeting Charlie Kirk. The mayor of Alexandria is Alyia Gaskins, and this kind of thing is apparently acceptable on public property.

It’s the same tired pattern we’ve seen for years. The left spent so much time and energy spreading lies about Charlie Kirk that a huge number of people genuinely believe them. They hate him not because of who he actually was or what he actually said, but because of the caricature the media and activists built up around him.
Charlie Kirk was a guy who showed up every day ready to talk to anyone. He didn’t hide from difficult conversations. He invited them. He believed in open debate, in challenging bad ideas with better ones, and in treating people with basic respect even when they disagreed with him.
But that’s not the version the left wanted people to see. They needed him to be a monster so they could justify the constant attacks, the smears, and eventually the violence. And too many people bought it without ever bothering to check for themselves.
Now, in a taxpayer-funded art center, they’re still pushing that same dishonest narrative. It’s not art. It’s propaganda. And it’s being displayed in a government building in a city run by Democrats.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated. His widow, Erika Kirk, is still grieving. His family is still hurting. And yet here we are — watching public money used to keep the lies alive and the hatred going.
This isn’t about “art” or “expression.” It’s about continuing to demonize a man who was murdered for his beliefs. It’s about making sure the next generation grows up hating someone they never even tried to understand.
Charlie would have sat down with the people who made this display and tried to have an honest conversation. That was who he was. Unfortunately, the people behind this kind of thing have zero interest in truth or dialogue. They just want to keep feeding the lies that justify their rage.
This display is disgusting. It’s taxpayer-funded hate. And it says a lot more about the people who approved it than it ever will about Charlie Kirk.
