Marco Rubio Pimp-Slaps Ted Lieu So Hard You Almost Feel Bad for Him… Almost (Video)
Ted Lieu really thought he had something.
The California Democrat tried to go after Marco Rubio during a hearing, claiming President Trump has been falling asleep in meetings. Lieu was clearly excited, thinking he finally had Rubio cornered and Trump on the ropes.
He didn’t.
Rubio calmly dismantled the attack, and Lieu spent the rest of the exchange desperately talking over him, interrupting, and accusing Rubio of “lying again” every time he tried to answer. It was pathetic to watch.

This is the same Ted Lieu who has spent years being one of the most irrelevant, puffy, and politically impotent members of Congress. Every time these guys think they finally have Trump “right where they want him,” it blows up in their faces. Again.
Rubio didn’t even have to raise his voice. He just methodically took Lieu apart while Lieu flailed around trying to regain control of the moment. It was so one-sided it was almost hard to watch — almost.
The clip is going viral because it’s just so satisfying. Rubio is one of the best in the Senate at this, and watching him turn Ted Lieu into a sputtering mess is the kind of content that reminds you why some people should never pick fights they can’t finish.
Lieu wanted to make Rubio look bad. Instead, he reminded everyone why he’s become a punchline.
Rubio 1, Lieu 0. And it wasn’t even close.
