President Trump spoke about immigration, his poll numbers and the GOP tax law at a tax event in Cleveland, Ohio.
One kid yelled “hi” to President Trump!
And our president response was just heartwarming!
Thank you, thank you very much,” Trump told the crowd. “It’s a great honor to be here. This was the–”
Then, what appeared to be the voice of a child yelled “hi!” to Trump.
Trump laughed and said, “Thank you.”
“So many of those beautiful hats. Do we love those hats?” he continued. “Remember, you have to win the great state of Ohio, and did we win the great state of Ohio. I always say this, how are we doing now compared to the election? We’re doing great. We just had a couple of meetings with some of the folks. We have great, great people in this state. This is a very, very special place.”

The trip marks the second time Trump has come to Northeast Ohio on an official visit in as many months
In March, he visited a Richfield union training facility ostensibly to talk about infrastructure but veered off on several subjects as well.
Trump’s visit is just the latest from the administration, which has blanketed Ohio since the 2016 election.
Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter and one of his senior advisers, came to Rocky River recently to discuss the tax plan. Vice President Mike Pence attacked U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat from Ohio, at a pro-Trump super PAC event in March for voting against the GOP tax plan.
While Trump’s visit is official White House business, it comes just three days before a primary in which numerous candidates in bitterly contested races have tried to brand themselves as the most pro-Trump of the bunch.
