David Hogg Takes Shot At President Trump, But Hits Himself With Massive Show Of Ignorance
We almost forgot about the outspoken and articulate Florida shooting survivors David Hogg… but, then he goes and tweets something stupid again. He now wants to change the constitution but has no freaking idea how it works. Maybe he should have paid more attention in class…
In response to President Donald Trump calling out the National Security Agency for possible privacy violations and tweeting that it deleted “685 million phone calls and text messages,” pro-gun control Parkland activist David Hogg called for Trump to “repeal the Patriot Act”:
If you really care about privacy repeal the Patriot Act. https://t.co/uYSI9x89g8

With this, Hogg again showed his ignorance. The Patriot Act is a law passed in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
While there are certainly problems with the Patriot Act that one could raise, Hogg apparently doesn’t know that a President cannot simply repeal a law with the swipe of a pen.

The Patriot Act is law. Congress passed it. President Bush signed it into law. The President, no President, can repeal law. Come on.

It’s almost like David doesn’t think before he tweets.
Civics Lesson: Congress Writes Laws. The Presidents Sign Them and The Courts enforce them. At no time can any President write a law then sign it i.e. like Obama did with DACA nor undo a law that has been passed by Congress and signed by a POTUS. Schools have failed you.

Learn how our Constitutional Republic works, before you try to tell us how to operate it.
Thanks!

Keep up the good work David, each tweet just proves how little you really know. 👍

Well, the experience is an overrated thing when you don’t have any. David Hogg is not only not as smart as he thinks, he is way less intelligent or informed than his backers think. He is a parody of himself – kina good for a laugh. It’s long past the time for someone to tell Hogg to just: “Sit down and shut the hell up.”
