Democrat Congressman Accuses Mark Zuckerberg of Lying To Congress

On Monday, Democrat congressman Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) accused Mark Zuckerberg of lying to Congress claiming that Zuckerberg needs to be “held accountable” for his actions, and called for the latest data scandal to be investigated.

Cicilline accusation comes in a response to a Sunday New York Times article that Facebook gave device makers “broad access” to user data.

On Twitter, Cicilline wrote: “Sure looks like Zuckerberg lied to Congress about whether users have “complete control” over who sees our data on Facebook. This needs to be investigated and the people responsible need to be held accountable.”

However, on Monday Facebook pushed back against the New York Times’s report, saying that the data shared with the device makers were never abused.

“These partners signed agreements that prevented people’s Facebook information from being used for any other purpose than to recreate Facebook-like experiences,” wrote Ime Archibong, Facebook’s vice president of product partnerships.

“Contrary to claims by the New York Times, friends’ information, like photos, was only accessible on devices when people made a decision to share their information with those friends.”

Remember when asked how they make money? And Zuckerberg said we sell advertising. He forgot to mention we sell our users info. We all know he lied, and they Democrats protected him by not putting him under oath. He is such a big donor to the Democratic Party. That show of him testifying in front of that committee was such a joke. He allowed personal information from Facebook users to be sold for profit.
So has anybody heard any more about that?
