Drunk Hit-and-Run Illegal Woman Gets More Than a Decade in Prison for Brutal Murder of Homeless Man

An illegal alien, Esteysi “Stacy” Sanchez, 31, who hit a homeless man in Oceanside and continued driving for more than a mile, with the man lodged in her windshield before walking home and changing her clothes was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison Wednesday.
She had at least five alcoholic drinks, plus beer, in the hours before her car struck a pedestrian on July 27, 2016.

A friend had warned Sanchez before she got in her car to head home from a hotel that she was too drunk to drive, the prosecution told jurors. Her blood alcohol was measured at .18 to .19, more than twice the legal limit.
It took a jury just half a day of deliberation to find Sanchez guilty of second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter, and hit-and-run.
Tenhulzen’s family took the opportunity to tell the court and Sanchez about Tenhulzen and the impact of Sanchez’s actions on their lives. Tenhulzen’s niece Lisa Francisco said Sanchez broke her heart, according to local Fox5 News. Deputy District Attorney Robert Bruce recounted an interruption in the hearing caused by Sanchez’s intense sobbing.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed an immigration hold on Sanchez shortly after the June 2016 murder of Tenhulzen.
Those who never went through the difficult legal process never invested in being part of American society. They never put anything into it which makes them care less about what it will cost them because they can always just run back to their original country. Good thing this horrible person was caught. The downside is the US will continue to pay for her incarceration.
There are a bunch of hit and runs in California. They all appear to be “dreamers” when caught. That’s what happens when the Dems let everyone get their license. They say it will prevent them from driving illegally.
Thank you ICE! And dear court system and judges, please make this chick serve a life sentence. Do not let her out early.
