House Ethics Complaint Filed Against Rep. Ilhan Omar

Omar may have married her brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in order to aid Elmi in obtaining U.S. citizenship. The two were married in 2009 and later divorced in 2017. While being legally married to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, Omar has publicly identified Ahmed Hirsi as her cultural husband and father of her children.
Omar has refused to answer questions regarding her marriage history, calling the claims that she married her brother “disgusting lies.”

According to her limited bio on Wikipedia, Omar divorced her second husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2017. Ahmed Nur Said Elmi is reported to be her brother. The two were married on February 12, 2009.

She is a sitting congresswoman who may have filed EIGHT YEARS of fraudulent, felonious, tax returns.

The Democrats denied the alleged indiscretions, though the complaints were still unconfirmed to the public at the time.

Judicial Watch decided to react today they announced ethics complaints were delivered to David Skaggs, calling for an investigation into allegations that Rep. Omar married her biological brother. EW.

David Skaggs is the Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics. The investigation will look into potential crimes committed when Omar married her brother.

Judicial Watch:

“The evidence is overwhelming Rep. Omar may have violated the law and House rules.

The House of Representatives must urgently investigate and resolve the serious allegations of wrongdoing by Rep. Omar,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

“We encourage Americans to share their views on Rep. Omar’s apparent misconduct with their congressmen.”
