Karma Strikes After Restaurant Manager Refuses To Serve Customer Wearing MAGA Hat (VIDEO)
Only a week ago, White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders was kicked out of the restaurant — The Red Hen in Lexington, Virginia — on “moral grounds.” But, it looks like the madness continues.
A manager Darin Hodge at the Teahouse in Stanley Park was fired after hehe denied service to a customer who wore MAGA hat. The company said in an emailed statement that it “does not support intolerance of any kind” and “cannot discriminate against someone based on their support for the current administration in the United States or any other bona fide political party.”
Darin Hodge, the former manager of the Teahouse in Stanley Park, released a statement Friday through Facebook Messenger saying he stood by his decision.
“The MAGA hat has come to symbolize racism, bigotry, Islamaphobia, misogyny, white supremacy, homophobia,” Hodge said.
“As a person with a strong moral backbone, I had to take a stand against this guest’s choice of headwear while in my former place of work. Absolutely no regrets.”
Hodge said the incident happened Tuesday and he was fired Thursday.
As a manager, he should represent the restaurant, not his personal feelings, regardless of what shirt or hat slogans come to the place of business. So, this is a perfect example of ignorance and the very things this person accuses Trump supporters of being is alive and flourishing in his small brain.
What happened to Sarah and this young man is a complete shame! Liberals have become a bunch of bullies telling us what we can and can’t think, what we can and can’t do, what we can and can’t say. No one should be treated like that.
