President Trump Orders ICE To Deport An ACTUAL Nazi, WATCH It Happen (Video)
A 95-year-old man believed to be the last Nazi war crimes suspect living in the U.S. was apprehended in New York City early Tuesday and deported to Germany, the White House said.
Jakiw Palij, a former concentration camp guard, was removed from the country a quarter century after immigration authorities first approached him about his activities in World War II and more than a decade after he was ordered deported.
He’s lived in this country for 60 years and every president before trump has ignored him. Not Trump.
Palij was the last remaining Nazi collaborator living in the United States.
Palij had his U.S. citizenship revoked in 2003 by a federal judge and was ordered to be deported a year later.
It took President Trump to actually deport him back to Germany.
To protect the promise of freedom for Holocaust survivors and their families, President Trump prioritized the removal of Palij,” said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, adding that Trump and his team engaged in “extensive negotiations” with Germany on a deportation agreement.
Richard Grenell, the U.S. ambassador to Germany, said Trump “made it very clear” in private conversations that deporting Palij was a priority and he credited German officials for taking a fresh look at the case.
