President Trump Says He Will Go Forward With Border Wall Plans in California, Despite Gov. Brown

California’s Democratic governor, Jerry Brown, has been hostile toward President Trump’s plan to have tight border security and make the border wall nearly impervious for immigrants coming to the United States illegally.

Luckily, President Trump stands strong against California’s sanctuary policies and puts the American people ahead of Illegal immigrants.

On Wednesday, President Trump said that he would overlook the differences he has with Gov. Jerry Brown over California’s sanctuary policies and he will allow wall upgrades to about 28 miles of the border in the San Diego sector.

“San Diego has asked us to go forward with their section of the wall in California. And rather than not doing that and letting them lobby for us with Governor Brown, we decided to do it,” the president said at a meeting with his Cabinet. “We’ll have a little bit less of a lobby, but we’ll have a lot of people happy in San Diego.”

The Board of Supervisors for San Diego, which is California’s second-most populous county and sits on the border with Mexico, in April voted to support Trump’s legal challenge to the state designating itself a “sanctuary state” hospitable to immigrants.

Trump’s announcement came just as administration officials were giving an update on the president’s deployment of National Guard troops to the border.

Politicians in California value the lives of illegal immigrants, drug dealers, criminals and gang members above those of hard-working taxpayers. Luckily, President Trump stands tall and firm against all bullies.

We are now finally having a President that cares about the US and it’s citizens first!!

We will defend our borders by any means necessary! This is what happens when we have a President who actually upholds our immigration laws.
