Trump’s Comments On Nike’s Kaepernick Endorsement May Surprise You

Why do you support someone who disrespects the American Flag? How many men have already died to protect his right to display this disrespect? Another example of entitlement.

Nike made a huge mistake but as President Trump said today: “In another way, it is what this country is all about, that you have certain freedoms to do things that other people think you shouldn’t do, but I personally am on a different side of it.”

President Trump during his interview with the Daily Caller gave his opinion on the current situation with Colin Kaepernick!

“I think it’s a terrible message that they’re sending and the purpose of them doing it, maybe there’s a reason for them doing it,” Trump said in an interview with The Daily Caller. “But I think as far as sending a message, I think it’s a terrible message and a message that shouldn’t be sent. There’s no reason for it.”

But Trump also acknowledged that Nike has the right to feature Kaepernick in the advertisement.

“As much as I disagree with the Colin Kaepernick endorsement, in another way — I mean, I wouldn’t have done it,” he said. “In another way, it is what this country is all about, that you have certain freedoms to do things that other people think you shouldn’t do, but I personally am on a different side of it.”

Trump also said in the interview that “Nike is a tenant of mine,” referencing Nike’s five-floor Niketown store at Trump’s property on 57th Street in New York City.

Nike should have chosen a real hero that knows the true meaning of sacrifice! One wears a real uniform the other is a jersey.

One goes into battle the other plays a game. One clutches to his comrades the other a football. One loves our flag the other disrespect it. One Is first to be in line to go to a foreign land The other is first to complain One has to wait to get medical treatment the other has a staff of doctors.

One has the media showing their injury’s the others are never noticed. One lays in a cold trench the other has a warm bed.

One has private security the other has none. One wins trophy’s and has parades the others come home unnoticed.

One has the courage and guts the other gets the glory.

One I love for giving me the privilege to call America my home for they are my heroes.
