Video: Ukraine’s Planned Anti-Trump Protest Was a Total Flop—The Crowd Size Says It All!

In a stunning rebuke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s grip on power, a highly anticipated anti-Trump protest in Kyiv turned into a humiliating flop, with video evidence showing a turnout so minuscule it barely filled a city corner. The demonstration, organized in response to President Donald Trump’s recent remarks labeling Zelensky a “dictator” for refusing to hold elections amid the ongoing war with Russia, was meant to rally opposition to Trump’s peace initiatives. Instead, it exposed the fragility of Zelensky’s domestic support, as captured in a viral clip shared by conservative commentator @stillgray on X.

The footage, shows a sparse gathering of fewer than 50 people, dwarfed by the vast Kyiv square where it was held. Banners reading “Trump Betrays Ukraine” and “No Peace with Putin” were visible, but the crowd’s size—easily outnumbered by a single Trump rally in the U.S.—spoke volumes. Critics on X, including @JackPosobiec, noted the telltale signs of low attendance: tight camera angles from low perspectives, which organizers often use to mask small crowds. Wider shots, later shared by attendees, confirmed the paltry numbers, with one user quipping, “This isn’t a protest; it’s a coffee klatch.”

Trump’s remarks, which came after his administration pushed for new elections in Ukraine as part of a U.S.-Russia peace plan brokered in Riyadh, struck a nerve. But the protest’s failure suggests many Ukrainians are growing weary of  Zelensky’s resistance to democratic processes and endless war funding from the West. As Twitchy reported, Elon Musk recently highlighted plummeting Ukrainian public support for Zelensky, citing polls showing frustration over the lack of progress and rising casualties. Musk’s X post, “Zelensky’s approval is tanking—time for peace, not more U.S. cash,” resonated with Trump’s stance, further amplifying the protest’s failure as evidence of shifting sentiment.

For Trump supporters, this is a vindication of his “America First” policy. Since taking office, Trump has argued the U.S. can’t sustain a conflict with no clear victory, especially while Europe relies on American generosity. Vice President JD Vance’s recent takedown of historian Niall Ferguson at the Munich Security Conference echoed this, earning praise for rejecting endless aid to Ukraine. The protest’s flop aligns with Musk’s DOGE efforts to cut federal waste—like exposing Social Security fraud—reinforcing Trump’s focus on prioritizing U.S. interests over foreign entanglements.

Zelensky’s team claimed the low turnout was due to security concerns, but the video tells a different story: a leader losing his shine. With Trump pushing for peace and elections, this protest’s failure isn’t just a PR disaster—it’s a signal that Ukraine’s people may be ready for a new path, one that aligns with Trump’s vision of ending the war without sacrificing American resources. So much for Zelensky’s popularity.
