Just In: Mueller Lawsuit Trouble, Judge Orders Release Of Thousands Of ‘Media’ Docs, Contacts
Democrat’s house of cards is collapsing. Robert Mueller’s right-hand man and “pitbull” Andrew Weissmann is facing allegations he leaked information to reporters concerning the Russian collusion investigation, according to a Monday court filing.
Via The Western Journal: “Paul Manafort’s defense attorney Kevin Downing officially leveled the leaking allegation against key Mueller deputy Andrew Weissmann as part of a new legal offensive against Mueller’s indictment of Manafort, who served briefly as Trump’s campaign manager.
Downing charges that a flood of media leaks has prevented his client from getting a fair trial. Downing asked presiding federal Judge T.S. Ellis III on April 30 to convene a hearing on media leaks.
Well, the judge has ordered the Department of Justice to hand over thousands of documents regarding Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s media contacts, according to WND. Basically, he has to disclose all leftist media personnel he’s been working with over the course of the investigation.
The explosive ruling from U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan came after Freedom Watch President Larry Klayman filed a lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act.
Klayman told WND that Mueller’s office has been leading a secret investigation and leaking information to the liberal media for a year, and it was time for his dirty actions to be exposed.
On Thursday, Sullivan gave the DOJ until Sept. 4, to provide thousands of documents and contacts that are identified under a Freedom of Information Act case. There are reportedly more than 9,000 documents in question that the DOJ will be forced to hand over.
The DOJ oversees Mueller’s probe, so the department maintains possession of all documents and records regarding the special counsel’s investigation into unproven allegations of collusion between President Donald Trump‘s campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.
Klayman filed the lawsuit against Mueller’s office because he said they “are alleged to have illegally leaked grand jury information to damage the president, his family and associates, have thus far been untouched by the inept and inert Justice Department, run by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who appears afraid that he himself may be indicted by Mueller for alleged Russian collusion and obstruction of justice.”
The lawsuit is undoubtedly a big blow to Mueller, and comes less than two weeks after Mueller admitted to Trump’s legal team that his office cannot indict a sitting president. So, Mueller admitted he doesn’t have any legal authority to indict Trump, yet he’s continuing with his witch hunt.
I did not think the stench from this witch hunt could get any worse. Someone should tell these agents at the FBI, that leaking classified information is a Felony. So, arrest the dirty cops and crooked lawyers at the FBI and DOJ.
