Mike Pence’s Revelation What Prayer Is Like at The White House, Will Leave Some People Furious!
On Thursday, President Trump welcomed a diverse range of religious leaders to the White House for the National Day of Prayer. Trump spoke about religious persecution and the importance of faith in his remarks. The president, surrounded by religious leaders of all faith backgrounds, then signed an official White House Faith Initiative.
Moments later, Vice President Pence, a devout evangelical Christian, had an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network in which he said that President Trump often encourages members of his Cabinet to open meetings with prayer.
“There’s a prayer going on on a regular basis in this White House,” Pence said during an interview.
“And it’s one of the most meaningful things to me. Whether it’s public meetings or not, I’ve lost count of the number of times that the president has nudged me, or nudged another member of the Cabinet and said, ‘Let’s start this meeting with prayer,'” Pence said.
Pence added: “This is really about making sure that as we develop policies for the country, that we are always making room for those inalienable rights, the free exercise of religion that Americans cherish.”
So glad to hear this!!! I’m so glad to see Christ being welcomed into the White House. President Trump and Pence are examples of Christianity. This entire country was built on the reverence of God, it’s ingrained in our pledge, our national anthem, our culture. One cannot separate faith from politics. Our whole governing body (the Constitution) was developed by men of faith. And their belief in the one true GOD is evident throughout, for which I am most thankful. America only gets into trouble when we stray from GOD and allow other ideologies to subvert HIS teachings and thereby mislead us.
Great people in power can be so amazing when they humble themselves to admit that they especially need to learn and trust in GOD because of their huge responsibility that goes with this high position. Trump admits this. He is a family man and loves God. If we keep that first above all, we should prosper.
