Tyranny In America: Video Of Police Officers Arresting A Concealed Carry Holder With His Permit During The Lockdown Protests

The Denver Police Department arrested Jafar Partowmah on April 26 at the Capitol for openly carrying a firearm.

The man was carrying two pistols. He is a permitted carrier. He was on the sidewalk and not starting anything. He was not brandishing or threatening.

His shirt blew in the wind and the cops saw his weapon.

He was arrested around 2 p.m. in the 1400 block of Lincoln Street.

A protest was held at the Capitol Sunday because of the COVID-19 closures.

Colorado is an “open-carry” state, with some exceptions. Denver generally prohibits the open carry of firearms. Certain people are forbidden from carrying a gun anywhere. (Such as convicted felons, minors, or drug addicts.)

But arresting someone because the wind blew his shirt and they saw his gun is insanity!
Just reporting on this so we can get more info on what happened. If it is in fact how it’s stated, pretty scary. Probable cause (wind blowing a shirt up or something and seeing a weapon) allows them, officers, to question, not arrest just because. If the man was not going after LE or causing other trouble, a simple questioning and clarification/show the permit would have been the end of it. If it’s in fact how it’s stated here, this is an abuse of power. Time will tell once more info is released.
